Scranton Tomorrow's annual holiday campaign runs from November 1 to January 7, 2022

Our Light Up Downtown Scranton holiday campaign encourages everyone in the community to shop and dine in the Downtown Scranton Business District this holiday season. Promotions run through January 7, 2022, and include:

Downtown Drive-Thru, through January 7, 2022: Many Downtown shops and eateries offer curbside delivery in addition to indoor shopping and dining. Our Downtown Drive-Thru program makes it easy for you to find them. Click here for a list of participating businesses.


Tis the Season Sundays, November 21 through January 2, 2022: With free parking and plenty of shopping and dining options, Sundays are a great day to visit Downtown Scranton during the holidays. Click here for a list of participating businesses offering Sunday hours and special incentives..



Holiday Open House, November 21: Everyone is invited to spend a Sunday afternoon in Downtown Scranton and take advantage of holiday incentives at unique shops and restaurants while enjoying live music, hot cocoa and more! Click here for a list of participating businesses.




Holiday Window Showcase, November 24 - January 7, 2022: The Holiday Window Showcase features magical holiday displays in dozens of businesses in Downtown Scranton. Displays officially open the night before Thanksgiving, making this charming tradition the perfect way to celebrate the season with family and friends. Black Friday, November 26: Downtown Scranton retailers and restaurants will offer seasonal promotions, gift cards, and more

on one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Click here for a list of participating businesses.



Small Business Saturday, November 27: Small Business Saturday is a day to support local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country. American Express created this national movement to increase sales for small businesses across the country. Scranton Tomorrow has been proud to organize Small Business Saturday in Downtown Scranton for 11 years. Click here for a list of participating businesses. Shoppers are encouraged to spread the joy on social media using #shopsmall, #smallbiz, #shoplocal.



Swingin' Jazz Nutcracker Suite Concert & Toy Drive, November 27: The Scranton Jazz Festival Big Band, under the direction of Marko Marcinko, will perform The Swingin’ Jazz Nutcracker Suite on Saturday, November 27, at 7 p.m. at The Ritz Theater, 222 Wyoming Avenue, Downtown Scranton.


The event is made possible through a partnership between Scranton Tomorrow and the Scranton Jazz Festival. Tickets are $20 per person. Proceeds benefit the Scranton Jazz Festival and The Children’s Advocacy Center. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit children in need in the greater Scranton area. Cyber Monday, November 29: Support local and shop online when Downtown Scranton businesses showcase their most popular products and services online on Cyber Monday. Click here for a list of participating businesses.




Giving Tuesday, November 30: Scranton Tomorrow will participate in Giving Tuesday this year. Donations will help support economic development projects in Downtown Scranton. Click here to make a contribution. Thank you!




Home for the Holidays, December 3 - 12: Before they head home for the holidays, college students in Scranton will enjoy special incentives and promotions from participating businesses in Downtown Scranton with presentation of valid student ID.
