To support Scranton businesses as they re-open, Scranton Tomorrow has created a COVID-19 Business Resources page filled with links and information business owners need. The page is continually updated with new information as it becomes available.
The page includes:
Links to local Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suppliers offering special rates through partnership with Scranton Tomorrow. A wide variety of supplies are available at special rates through the links posted on Scranton Tomorrow’s site, and by calling the partners listed and mentioning Scranton Tomorrow. Masks, face shields, disinfectants, hand sanitizer, and no-contact thermometers are among the featured products.
Details on state health and safety regulations for operations in various phases of re-opening;
Links to local, state & federal resources;
Links regarding food & beverage, health & safety, financial and local partners; and
Information on the Safe Scranton Pledge.
“We created the Business Resource page to help business owners navigate through the process of re-opening,” said Leslie Collins, executive director of Scranton Tomorrow. “This is new territory for everyone, and we felt it was important to share as much information as possible, as quickly as possible, from the start of the pandemic to our current phase of re-opening. We encourage business owners to bookmark the page and refer to it often.”
Save Time.
“Everything on this page is designed to save business owners time and money,” Ms. Collins said. Business owners save time because they don’t have to do their own research. “We’ve taken that step for them, and we only include information from reliable, accurate sources.”
Save Money.
Business owners can buy what they need to meet health and safety requirements through the links on Scranton Tomorrow’s website, or by mentioning Scranton Tomorrow when they call the partnering suppliers listed on the Business Resources page. “We were able to negotiate special rates on Personal Protective Equipment through partnerships with local PPE suppliers,” said Ms. Collins. “We are grateful to our partners who didn’t hesitate to share information, and develop special rates for the Scranton business community.”
Gain Peace of Mind.
The Business Resource page also connects business owners to the City of Scranton’s resource website, ScrantonWORKS, and information on the Safe Scranton Pledge. The City of Scranton in partnership with Scranton Tomorrow, created the Safe Scranton Pledge. Business owners who take the pledge receive a decal to post on their front doors or windows to signify their commitment to customer and employee safety.
