Featured Event: The first monthly Second Saturday event will be held on May 10th in Downtown Scranton. The Scranton Business Alliance have planned a full day of special events to showcase all that is fresh and new in the Electric City. Spend the day in our fabulous shops, eateries and galleris, and the then enjoy the Scranton Community Concerts performance of the smash musical comedy revue "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" at the Mellow Theater. Individual businesses will host special events at their locations with the common theme being the celebration of Mother’s Day. Get a makeover for Mom or a special gift and pick up a voucher for a discount off of the price of a ticket to the show at the Mellow Theater from participating retailers. See below for details. Numerous businesses will also host a raffle to raise money for the Women's Resource Center. Prizes include personal chef services and tickets to an upcoming Scranton Community Concerts event. Donation canisters, WRC “Wish Lists” of items desperately needed at the center, and information on all the good works the WRC provides to the community will be on hand at each participating retailer so stop by and show your support for a great cause! Remember - street parking is free (always!) on Saturdays!
