Here are some tips to help
make your
First Night experience first-rate!
-
Pre-plan
your evening. Review the program guide and map and decide which
activities and artists you will enjoy most. Be sure to have
second and third choices, just in case a particular venue is too
crowded.
-
You
must show your First Night Scranton 2008 button for admission
into all venues. Be sure to buy your button early! Buttons cost
$8 before the event and $10 the night of the event. Senior citizens are $5, and kids under 5 are free. Click
here for a complete list of button sale outlets.
-
Be
flexible. If you cannot get into a performance, be spontaneous
and switch to another venue that fits your schedule. It beats
standing in line or missing a new and exciting experience!
-
Dress
appropriately. Most performances are indoors, however we
encourage you to dress in layers with warmth in mind. Also, wear
comfortable shoes for walking from venue to venue.
-
Carpool
with friends. All event parking is free!
-
Don’t
miss out on a great act because you don’t want to walk – use
the First Night Scranton 2008 Trolley Shuttle Service!
